Lesson One: Biological Rhythms

Shizuka walked into her classroom. Her smile brightened as she turned on the lights. The tubes, and pipettes shined in the bright morning sun. Her desk was up front by the chalkboard. She quickly moved it, and the student lab tables made a square around the room with her desk in the middle.
By the chalkboard she unfolded a table and placed cookies, cakes, candies, and iced oolong tea she just made on it. She used some of her magic no how to change the wall pink and placed lace pillows on head chair seat. She searched trough her bags and found pink curtains and hung them over the window
She placed a pink pillow in her chair and a teddy bears by the inflatable pink couch and white mink rug. One each of the desk she placed a wrapped gifted and then she sat down waiting for the student to come in and start to learn under her.

Vera showed up nice and early for class. She was humming a happy tune as she walked through the doors. "Ooooh pretty." She said giddily. This was the perfect place for a girl like Vera to be. "Good morning teacher." She said after she was done staring at the walls, and all the pink. "Where do I sit?" She then questioned wanting to make sure she got in the right seat.
Following behind her was the exact opposite of Vera by the name of Jessia, or Wild Jessia. 'Damn what is with this room? Ain't a spec of color besides pink in here." The cowgirl said. She knew she was going to be uncomfortable in such a room, but she had to take the class if she was going to saty at this school to find her sister.
(Go switching from one to another lol)

Shizuka stood up as two student came in the room. "Welcome to class you can sit anywhere you like." said Shizuka bowing low. "You are welcome to partake of the tea and sweets." said Shizuka pointing her hand toward the front of the room by the chalkboard.

Just then the door opened only to reveal a very tired wolf. Ryoko yawned as she walked in stretching into the air as she made some noises that only came from a dog.
But once she saw the people inside, she mentally slapped herself out of it as she smiled.
"Sorry, had one too many howls last night. Parents wanted to know how my day was."
She winked at the teacher as she smiled seeing Vera, the cutest fairy in the world. Then she saw her.. Miss parasite.
"This is going to be a long day."

Vera quickly went to partake in the sweets. They were a weakness of hers after all. "These are really good Miss.' She aid wit ha mouth full of cookie. She really did have manners ,but when it came to sweets she well could not control her little self. She really did need to work on thats o she could be a proper lady.
Jessia on the other hand though she did have a love for cookies did not want to eat any. Her eyes peered over to the wolf. "You know you don't need the attitude. It isn't proper for ladies like ourselves to act in such a manner." She put on a sweet smile and then stared at the wolf girl. This was her act for when in public, and she was quite good at it.

Shizuka smiled and bowed in the other students. "Don't worry about you are one time," she said to Ryoko winking back. She waited till everyone was seated. She watched to see if anymore will come in and then decide to start class. "Ohayo Gozaimass or Good morning to English speakers." said Shizuka bowing. "Today science class we will be studying Biological rhythms or biorhythms for short." She wrote the lesson name on the board and the shorter name as well. She walked near each table smiling brightly as she started. "Can anyone tell me what is biorhythms?" asked Shizuka happily.

Seki walked into the room carrying her big backpack over her shoulder. Though there were people there already, they seemed to her to be a very unique cast of characters. To her left, she had seen what seemed to be a faerie trying to flap her wings... to her right seemed to be a cowgirl that almost looked to her to be just out of the rodeo but in front of her was the most unique girl of all.
This girl seemed to be a sweet wolf girl but what had amazed Seki very much was that this girl was soo wound up with energy that if the string were to be unwound, she might feel like part of a yo-yo.
If Seki were able to show any emotions at all, she would have giggled at the sight of the wolf girl but her one weakness was that... she didn't know how. Quietly, Seki looked over and nodded softly to everyone as she spoke just one word.
"Hello."

Ryoko growled lowly, this cowgirl was really driving her patience. She would just have to play along.
At the teachers question Ryoko smiled, "I would think Miss Jessia would know the answer Miss. She's shown me just how talented and academically ahead she is. Unlike I, a foolish wolf, I think she would take this one."
Then another entered and Ryoko was instantly smitten. She loved this school even more!
She eyed the girl as she stood up and bowed in respect, "Hello beatiful."

Shizuka turned to the voice and smiled. "Hello welcome to science class please take a seat." said Shizuka pointing to the seats. "There are also sweets and tea if you like." said Shizuka pointing to the table with the doilies. "We were talking about biorhythms, do anyone know what biorhythms are?" asled Shizuka.

Before Jessia could be asked to answer Vera proudly took a stand. "A biorhythm is a hypothetical cycle in physical, emotional or intellectual well being." She smiled as she stood there. She hoped no one would hate her for answering the question. Then she looked at Jessia and smiled, but Jessia only scoffed and tilted her hat over her eyes.

Seki moved over and took a seat near the wolf girl, nodding softly at the teacher. "Thank you very much." She said in her normal monotone voice.
As she sat down on her chair, she was hearing the question and instantly, her body started to get a little cold... as if she was thinking about the answer. Luckily she did not have to as the Faerie seemed to have done that. Even if she were going to answer, she would have no idea what the answer was... since many things in biology were very foreign to her. Come to think of it, some of her own biology was unknown to her.
Looking over at the wolf girl, she could feel her body becoming warmer... like she was feeling happy. Oh how she loved the attention this girl was giving her. In her response, she took off her jacket and placed it on the chair.
"Hello to you too." She said nodding softly. The nods were the only show of emotion that she had ever learned how to do... for now. She just hoped that her way of showing her emotions would not make her seem to be wierd infront of the wolf girl. "May I ask your name?"

As the girl sat next to her she smiled as she observed her and her behavior. She was.. diffrent. But that's what intrigued the wolf girl.
At the ask of her name, she smiled. "Ryoko Abunai. And you dearest?"
She heard Vera as she answered the queston. This was one smart fairy. Smarter than she ever thought.

Seki's body was getting a little more warmer as she had heard Ryoko's name. Looking at Ryoko, her thoughts were starting to be right about her... she was a bundle of energy and... she loved to give attention. The attention was something the Seki needed to get through the class without having a panic attack inside of her body in the process.
"Seki. Seki Kamei. It is very wonderful to meet you." She said in her even tone. "I do hope that we can become very good friends." She said moving her long sweater sleeves up her arm... hoping that she could find a way to take the sweater off before she started to sweat in happinerss.

Ryoko found herself being even more drawn to the other girl. She knew right away that she was different. Her body temperature. Being a werewolf had its benefits.
"I would be honored if we were to be friends. Perhaps after class will you join me for a walk?" The wolf winked at her as her tail wagged slowly.
"But for now, we better pay attention to the class. I don't want you getting in trouble on my behalf."
Saying this she faces the teacher and for the first time ever, she actually pays attention.

Shizuka smiled widely and nodded at Vera. "Very Good Vera!" said Shizuka. "There are daily rhythms to many of our physiological functions and activities," said Shizuka as she walked by each table.
"Such as sleep, body temperature, alertness, neurotransmitter levels, etc." She smiled widely as she walked up to the chalkboard. Now can anyone tell me what are the rhythms that I have mentions cycle." She wrote the letters A,B,and C on the board then turned around towards the student. "Lets play a voting game." "How many of you believe it's A 24 hours or B 12 hours or finally C 2 hours," she said almost jumping up and down. "Cast your votes now students."
